In case you haven’t begun, or are still researching fonts for our first project the following are items to investigate:
Choose a typeface for your project that has a substantial number of variations, such as Univers, Helvetica, Caslon, Baskerville, Garamond, Futura, or Bodoni. Look at a variety of typefaces before you choose one, and be sure that you have access to a good “cut” of the face (a full type family). The following is a link to great classical typefaces: (I don’t have a list of fonts available in the Lab at MVCC, but most of these should be installed).
